Guests stay ski-in/ski-out at the premium Hotel Alto Nevados, including lift tickets, daily breakfasts, included dinners, and experienced local guiding in a small-group setting. Fly into Concepción, enjoy a private wine-country tour en route, and settle into the resort’s thermal spa just steps from the lifts.

This is the most seamless and time-efficient way to experience Nevados de Chillán.

What to Expect

• Group Type: Join a fixed-date departure as a solo traveler or small group. Scheduled tours require a minimum of 3 participants to run. Mixed groups may include some variability in ability, which can influence terrain choices, so private groups are recommended for those seeking a perfectly matched level.
• Location This tour is based exclusively at Nevados de Chillán, one of Chile’s premier volcano ski destinations, known for its steep terrain, deep snowfall, and unique off-piste opportunities. The resort offers good lift access, strong freeride terrain, and excellent mountain services.
• Terrain The trip focuses on lift-assisted resort skiing and riding, including groomers, off-piste, and advanced freeride terrain. Backcountry options are available when conditions and group ability allow. Expect open bowls and long runs and incredible views. 
• Ability Level This tour is best suited for advanced to expert skiers and snowboarders with good fitness, comfortable riding steep, variable snow and off-piste conditions typical of Nevados de Chillán.
• Equipment Backcountry gear (beacon, shovel, probe, and touring or splitboard setup) is strongly recommended for guests who want the option to access terrain beyond the resort boundary. Rental equipment may be available with advance notice.
• Guiding & Hosting You will be hosted by an experienced certified local guide throughout the trip. Guide ratio is 1:4, with a minimum of 3 guests and a maximum of 6, ensuring a personalized small-group experience.

Itinerary

Day 0 – Optional Arrival Night (Not Included)

Fly into Concepción a day early and check into the Holiday-Inn Express to rest before the expedition begins.

Day 1 – Arrival & Wine Country

Arrive at Concepción airport (CCP). Meet your driver and enjoy a scenic wine-tour stop in Chile’s fertile southern valleys. Lunch and tasting optional. Continue toward the Andes and check into your ski-in/ski-out hotel. Dinner included.

Days 2–7 – Ski, Relax, Repeat

Wake up to breakfast with panoramic mountain views. Walk a few meters to the lifts and ski at your own pace — no schedule, no pressure.
Join your local guide to explore the resort & off-piste options, or explore groomers on your own.
Afternoons are for hot springs, spa, or a quiet rest at the hotel. Dinner included nightly.

Day 8 – Farewell Descent & Local Restaurant

Enjoy a final morning in the mountains. Descend back toward Concepción, stopping at a traditional local restaurant for a Chilean meal. Transfer to CCP airport for departure.
